GRILLED ROMAINE SALAD:

This recipe is a hybrid from "Diners, Drive Ins & Dives" Guy Fieri and local Sam The Cooking Guy.

Sam uses feta cheese while Guy Fieri prefers bleu cheese.

Manicure and grill the lettuce, drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper and dress with chopped shallots, bacon bits & cheese.


Note: We've had this half a dozen times or so now, both cold and cooked, played with the ingredients and cooking methods, etc and it's a keeper!
